Kitchen Exhaust Duct
Car Park Extract Duct
Smoke Extraction Duct
Stair Pressurization Duct
All the Smoke Extract/Car Park Extract/Kitchen Exhaust/Stair Pressurization Ducts shall be required to provide fire rating for fully functioning ductwork system in case of fire incident to provide a sufficient time for proper evacuation to building occupants. These ducts shall be coated with Fire Retardant Coating of minimum 700-micron (DFT) thickness to provide 2 hours Fire Rating. The Fire-Retardant Coating shall be tested as per requirements of BS 476: Part 6 ‘Class O’ and Part 7 ‘Class 1’. The Material shall be tested to confirm 2 hours fire rating with NIL flame spread when directly exposed to Flame.
